Japan English Publications in Print (JEPP)
JEPPstandard is an online publication of the Japan Publications Guide Service (JPGS)
    The JPGS collects, publishes and exhibits publications that are published in/on/for Japan, East and Southeast Asia. Most publications included are in English or are bi-lingual. All types of publications are listed including those from commercial publishers, associations, governments, private individuals and others. JPGS does not sell publications but tries to help you find a source ... the original publishers, booksellers, online dealers, libraries, etc. JEPPstandard is FREE, open to all, and the database lists over 50,000 titles (books, journals, others). The links below lead to the title lists and detailed information on each title.
    Titles are listed alphabetically. "A", "An" and "The" at the start of a title are usually ignored. If a title were named "A Purple Elephant", it would most likely be listed under "P". Several of the files are large and will be slow to load if you have a slow internet connection; broadband will load quickly. After a page loads, it is often handy to search using your browser's find-in-page search ability.

Be creative in looking for titles. Title information has come from many sources and been input and edited at different times by many people. Most titles are straightforward, but some titles might be listed in an unexpected way. Take, for example, the following (imaginary) title:  "The third international widget sushi conference proceedings 1998". It might possibly be listed as:
The third international widget sushi conference proceedings 1998
Third international widget sushi conference proceedings 1998
International widget sushi conference proceedings, third 1998
1998 third international widget sushi conference proceedings
3rd international widget sushi conference proceedings 1998
Proceedings of the 3rd international widget sushi conference 1998

Perhaps difficult to find looking at lists, but easily found if searching for "widget sushi".
