You know Amazon. Perhaps you read ebooks. Now you should take a look at the Amazon Kindle ebook device and service. One minute delivery of a Kindle book, over 200,000 books now available and growing rapidly. The Kindle reader (think of it as the appliance that is more powerful than any cellphone and smaller than a small laptop computer). The second generation became available in Feb. 2009. This website will feature more and more Kindle-available ebooks .... classics, top current bestsellers, specialized books. Take a look at the books in the box below to get some feel for what is available NOW. There will be much much more in the near future. CAUTION: The Kindle works marvelously IN ALMOST ALL PARTS OF THE USA. Amazon's "Whispernet" delivery service (more powerful than cellphone delivery services) currently covers only the USA. If you are not in the USA, you currently cannot benefit much from the Kindle until Whispernet service is extended to other countries. Please make sure you know what you are buying. The Kindle versions of books can be downloaded and read only using the Kindle device. You can perhaps make a backup copy, but the Kindle versions of ebooks are copyrighted. |

are over 200,000 books that available on the Kindle and thousands more
being added. Click on any of the book pictures to
the left (all in Kindle versions) to learn more and to search for other
books available in the Kindle section of Amazon. Books available in
Kindle version are probably also available in paper. To find the paper
version, search for the title in the main Amazon store, not just
in the Kindle section. Kindle books have an Amazon ASIN that looks
similar to an ISBN but is not an ISBN. |
